This page contains audio recordings of Quran lectures given by Abu Yahya in urdu during the Taraweeh prayers a few years ago. Abu Yahya usually does not give public lectures during Ramadan however, on that occasion, he gave these lectures despite a severe sore throat to cover a colleague’s absence. The lectures provided an invaluable insight to understanding the Quran and were recorded during that month. They are now being presented for the benefit of people interested in understanding the Quran.
There are two lectures every day from the 1st to the 27th of Ramadan. These are summary of the Quran read during a single day’s Taraweeh prayers. In order to gain the maximum benefit from the lectures, it is essential that the listener first reads the translation of the part of the Quran discussed in each lecture.
